From a romantic engagement session by the water at The Historic Yates Mill County Park to a sunset-kissed wedding day, every moment radiated love and joy.
The bride, with her radiant tan skin and mesmerizing eyes, brought her Colombian roots to the forefront, made extra special by her parents’ journey from Colombia. Her groom, with sky-blue eyes and a smile that lit up the room, was her perfect match. As a bilingual husband-and-wife photography team, Brian and I connected deeply with their story, weaving Spanish and English to ensure every detail felt personal.
Held at The Matthews House and Catering (317 W Chatham St, Cary, NC 27511), this summer wedding dodged a rainy forecast to deliver a cooler-than-expected day. A breathtaking backdrop set the stage for a heartfelt ceremony and a lively reception. Their playlist, blending sultry Latin rhythms with top hits, kept the dance floor buzzing, while a mouthwatering pasta menu from Southern Harvest and a decadent red velvet cake from Gaby’s Delights stole the show!!
The couple’s journey began with an engagement session at The Historic Yates Mill County Park, where the bride’s request for waterside photos came to life against the serene millpond.
