JC Raulston Arboretum Wedding Ceremony | Molly + Dave’s Romantic Raleigh Celebration
When we first met Molly and Dave (and her Maid of Honor, River) at the TRAINE at Seaboard Station Open House, we knew something special was brewing. Molly lit up as she shared her dream of a JC Raulston Arboretum wedding ceremony surrounded by roses and her favorite flowers. From the first conversation, it was clear this couple’s day would be nothing short of enchanting — a true garden romance paired with a modern downtown celebration.
A Garden Ceremony Straight Out of a Romance Novel
The ceremony took place at the stunning JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, NC — a hidden gem for weddings in the Triangle and one of our favorite spots to photograph, (we have done a few maternity, and engagement photo/video sessions there prior, but first time photographing a. wedding ceremony!).
Surrounded by roses, a “must have” for our beloved bride, fresh summer greenery, and her family and friends, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Molly looked breathtaking in her gown (one of our favorite dresses ever!!!), and as she walked down the garden path to meet Dave, the emotion in the air was undeniable.
And one of the most jaw-dropping details of the day? The flowers — all designed by Molly’s mother. From the dreamy bouquet to the lush reception arrangements, every petal had a personal touch. But her bouquet? Massive, artful, and absolutely unforgettable. It was a showstopper in every sense of the word.
Every moment felt intentional: the emotional vows, the beaming faces of their loved ones, and the way Molly and Dave looked at each other like the rest of the world had faded away.
From Garden Romance to Downtown Celebration
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at The TRAINE at Seaboard Station, nestled in the heart of downtown Raleigh. The reception was a beautiful blend of industrial charm and modern elegance — the perfect match for this fun-loving couple. With exposed brick, string lights, and an energy that only downtown can bring, the TRAINE brought the party to life.
From heartfelt speeches and laughter to packed dance floors, their evening was filled with love and joy. You could tell that everyone in the room was rooting for these two — their story, their love, and the future they were building together.
